QPCO Interpreting request


Important information: Our interpreters should be part of a three/four-way conversation with yourselves, the client, the interpreter and if necessary, the signposting service. They are there to relay what is being asked by your organisation and interpret the reply from the client. If any forms need completing to make onward referrals, this needs to be completed directly by your organisation via the interpreter. At no point should our interpreters be left alone with the client as they have not been trained in risk assessing a situation. If you are using an online platform for the interview, we request that the camera of the client and interpreter is off for safeguarding reasons.  We strongly discourage our interpreters to meet the client physically.
