We are delighted that our fitness class is funded by a grant awarded from Sport England. The classes were developed during the Covid-19 pandemic as a way of addressing social isolation and supporting both mental and physical well-being. At the time, we ran a hybrid model with both online and outdoor sessions (when lockdown rules allowed). The positive impact of the classes and continued community participation motivated us to keep the project going. We are currently delivering a fitness class
