Welcoming Space

This is only possible as we have received support from The Living Well Fund, managed by the Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation (BLCF). The Living Well Fund is a partnership between BLCF and Cadent.

We deliver a welcoming space every Wednesday from 1 to 5pm at the Bhagwan Valmik Mandir Community centre, 10-12 Bunyan Road, Bedford, MK429JB. The space is run by the volunteers from the Bhagwan valmiki sabha Bedford and the staff from QPCO. Every week, there will be different activities for adults and children alike, no need to book, just turn up. Light refreshments are also available.

With the cost-of-living crisis and energy cost being at a high, the welcoming space can also provide the following advice:

• Deliver carbon monoxide (CO) awareness course
• Advice on Keeping safe & warm
• Energy awareness
• Referral to the priority service register (PSR)
• Service beyond the meter
• Slow cooking education
