Saturday 22nd November 2025 was a day of togetherness for the Women Empowerment without Border group, as we gathered to celebrate good food and community spirit through our Slow Cooking Session.
From sharing local recipe ideas to discovering new ways to make traditional ingredients go further, the event highlighted the creativity and resilience within the community. It was a true celebration of food as a bridge — connecting generations, neighbours, and cultures.
Each participant went home with a free slow cooker and ingredients pack, ready to continue cooking nutritious meals for their families.
Big thanks to Cadent, the Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation, and everyone who made the day so special. ![]()
