๐ Wonderful visit from Bedfordshire Lieutenancy to Celebrate Unity in Queen`s Park ๐
We were delighted to welcome Her Majestyโs Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire , Mrs. Susan Lousada, on Thursday 15th May for a special afternoon of interfaith engagement, community spirit, and cultural exchange. @bedfordshirelieutenancy
Joined by the QPCO Team and special guests, the Lord Lieutenant began her visit of Queenโs Park. On the program, we visited three key worship places who presented their contributions and projects into the heart of the community.
1-Guru Nanak Gurdwara, presentation and guided tour of the Gurdwaraโs beautiful spaces with its new classrooms facility. @gngbedford
2-Gulshan-e-Baghdad Masjid, learning about the rich traditions of the local Islamic community and their commitment to peace and community service. Visit of the Islamic Centre and talk about the different project delivered. @gulshanebaghdadbedford
3- All Saints Church, presentation from @faithinqueenspark and Tibbs Dementia. Plenty of singing and dancing took place.
This visit truly reflected Bedfordโs vibrant diversity and shared values of respect, understanding, and unity across faiths. ๐๐ฝโชโ
