BPIC is excited to invite everyone to celebrate Ukrainian Independence Day on the 24th August 2023 in Bedford at the Harpur Suite and Harpur Square to honour Ukrainian Independence and Freedom.
Entry is free and we will have plenty of activities for you and your children, including live music, traditional art masterclasses and an Art Exhibition which will be open throughout the event
We are working closely with the Ukrainian Saturday School and Art School Tsymbal to organise this event

On August 6th, the “Museum for a Day” event will be held at the Harpur Suite from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We hope to see you there, but if you can’t make it, we still want to hear your story. With additional funding, we hope to potentially include your stories in a book.
The youth group from Bedford Academy are delivering a social action project which aims and objectives is to tackle loneliness in their local community.
Lots of fun game, stalls, food and music at the annual Kenyan BBQ! Come and celebrate with the community.
The group is open to all women. We aim to deliver different activities. Every month, check out this page to see what is on! Note that the the trip to the Eco mosque is fully booked.

"I was one of the very first people to attend the Welcoming Space programme by QPCO. It was also one of the first community programmes I joined after moving to Bedford when my daughter was just 3 years old and my son was only 9 months old.
From the very beginning, the space felt warm, welcoming, and like a home away from home. The volunteers are always kind, respectful, and genuinely caring, making everyone feel included and valued.
The variety of activities on offer is truly wonderful. From young children to older adults, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether it`s arts and crafts, brain games, or other engaging activities, each session supports wellbeing, encourages creativity, and brings people together. I have enjoyed it so much that I often wish the sessions were held twice a week!
Having attended regularly over the years, I have seen first-hand the positive difference this programme makes to individuals and to the wider community. I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone to come along and experience the benefits of this welcoming space.
Thank you, QPCO, for creating such a generous, inclusive, and supportive environment. As a small token of my appreciation, I created a stitched version of the QPCO logo as a gift.
