To take part, a £1 contribution is required via ParentPay or in person on the day. All funds raised will go to @qpcobedford. A local grassroots charity targeting the most deprived areas in Bedford. Helping to empower local people to make a difference by building bridges between communities.
We’re excited to announce that the Ukrainian Saturday School in Bedford will be delivering Motanka Doll-Making Masterclasses during the Healing Hearts Free Art Event!
What is a “Motanka”/”Мотанка”?
Motanka’s hold timeless significance as cherished family charms in Ukrainian tradition. Originating around 5,000 years ago, these intricately knotted dolls symbolize the harmonious bond within families and the enduring connections across generations.
All resources will be provided by the Ukrainian Saturday School and registering is completely free!

The AGM which will take place on Saturday 27th January 2024 at 4pm at the Guru Nanak Gurdwara (84 Ford end Road, Bedford, MK40 4JX) in the community centre. Langar is available in the dining room before and after the AGM.
Rain or Shine, bring your secateurs and your boots and join us at 2pm at the orchard to learn to prune trees. Thank you to David Fisher for providing the session on pruning and another big thank you to the Guru Nanak Gurdwara for their hospitality.
