The outcomes of the survey have now been published. You can download a copy here.
We are delighted to have been commissioned by Bedford Borough Parent Carer Forum (BBPCF) to deliver their survey in the heart of the community. Their role is to represent all children and young people in Bedford aged 1 to 25 with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), as well as their parent carers.
Last year the survey highlighted the lack of activities for children and young people with SEND. This year, because of BBPCF’s advocacy work following that feedback, we have seen an increase in activities funded by the Council. If you want to see positive change for you and your children, it’s important to complete this survey and let BBPCF know what matters to you.
QPCO was commissioned to help BBPCF to reach diverse and underrepresented communities in Bedford. We are aware that language, literacy, anxiety, cultural barriers and lack of awareness can be obstacles to people having their say. We had staff and interpreters available to provide support.
Thank you to everyone who took part and helped us make this happen.
